Welcome to the trophy guide for Aca NeoGeo Aero Fighters 2. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – HI Score Mode.
Play HI Score Mode (select by pressing Options) and earn at least 10k points. It takes very little effort to get 10k points, only having to kill a few enemies. Once you get the ‘Game Over’ screen, Mark High Score Trophy will pop. Press X to upload the score to the Rankings and the HI Score Player Trophy will also pop. Press the touchpad and select “Back to title screen“.
Stage 2 – 500k Points in Original Mode.
To pop all remaining trophies your aim is to reach 500k points, which you will earn during Stage 8.
Select European or Japanese Original Mode with the Options button.
Once the game starts press the Touchpad, go to Game Settings,
Change Number of Players from 3 to 99, (Press left 3 times) and Difficulty from Level 4 to Level 1.
Press Circle twice to back out and then X to Save settings.
Press L1 to insert a credit and Options to start the game.
Press Square to select ship.
GLITCH WARNING for Original Mode Trophies
If you reach 100,000 points and the trophy does not pop, quit the game to the XMB, delete the save file by going to Settings, Application Saved Data Management, Saved Data in System Storage, Delete. Choose ACA Neogeo Aero Fighters 2. Relaunch the game and try again.
Record Score Trophy – Once you have reached 500,000 points, and get to the “Game Over” screen, press X when the prompt asks you to upload you score. (You only need 10k points to be able to upload a score, so it is possible to get this before the 100k, 300k, or 500k score trophies).
Easy Boss Kills.
Bosses are the end of level large enemies, you will hear an alarm sound when they are approaching. Bombs kill the bosses quickly, so one option is to press X to use up your stock of bombs, then purposely die to gain more. Rinse and repeat, a boss normally takes 4 or 5 bombs to die.
Optional Save State
Create a save state at a good point in your gameplay by pressing the touchpad and the selecting ‘Create Interrupt Save Data’. Then, if you get “Game Over” without getting the trophies, you can quit the game to the xmb, (Optional – Upload save to Ps Plus cloud) reload the game, and play from your save state. Immediately create a new Save State as it can only be used once.
Trophies
Score 500,000 points
The score won 500,000 points.
Going into the game settings and using a save state will make this trophy very easy. See Stage 2 above.
This trophy will pop during Stage 8 of the game.
Info/tips – Square is fire (Cannot be held down) X is Bomb. Amount of bombs you carry is shown in the bottom left corner of the screen. You start with 2 per life but you can collect more, they are a powerup with a B on it. Save bombs for the bosses, you will hear awarning sound when they approach. As you have 99 lives you can afford to purposely die during the boss fight and drop bombs. A Boss normally takes 4 or 5 bomb hits to die.
Collect the powerups with a P on it to power up your weapon.
Once some grounded enemies have been destroyed, e.g. tanks, they leave orange symbols behind. Collect these for extra points.
Which player you choose is down to preference, there is no difference between them regarding speed or firepower, only with type of upgraded weapon, e.g. spread shot or vertical, or by the type of Bomb. e.g. close range or wipes the entire screen.

HI SCORE Player
The score has been posted to the online rankings in the “HI SCORE MODE”.

Once you have reached at least 10,000 points in the Japanese or European Original mode, and get to the “Game Over” screen, you will get a prompt asking about uploading your score. Press X to pop the trophy.
Mark high score
High score has been updated.
