@PECOconnect is your website still down
- Jill Ivey (@jillianivey) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect @rossinphl I understand that. But why do I need to verify my account to tell you the block that has an outage? It should be easy to go to the map or text or tweet or send a carrier pigeon and say the power is out on the 300 blocks of Tasker and Cross Streets without having to verify.
- Jill Ivey (@jillianivey) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect @rossinphl …And it’s out again.
- Miguel E. Andrade (@MiguelEsAndrade) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect I was. Thank you. I do need to talk to customer service but will be calling y'all later today lol

@PECOconnect When will power be back on Horsham road?
- nick in white pants (@NicoDPrimo) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
Perfect timing for the power to go out in our entire neighborhood: no AC, no elevator, sun going down, and a dog who just had surgery and can’t go up or down stairs. #fml @PECOconnect
- Jonathan Nguyen (@CasualCarto) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect Thank you. Let me rephrase: any ETA on when the area will be made safe? I’m looking for an ESTIMATE, not a guarantee. My office and server are down and essential work is affected.
- VeryHungryTraveller (@VeryHungryTrav) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@Chas_Richardson dangerous 5-story dead tree on Westview already caught fire once & is now leaning, risk of falling on power lines. McFarland Landscaping needs PECO to shut off power so McFarland can remove tree. Can you help get PECO to talk with McFarland? @PECOconnect
- Jill Ivey (@jillianivey) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect @rossinphl Came back for about 60 seconds. Out again. Neighbor says a tree branch from the park across the street fell on the power lines. So that sounds safe. Too bad I can’t officially report it because the @PECOconnect system makes no sense.
- Jon Burk (@MrJonBurk) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
.@PECOconnect We heard a loud bang and now no power. Assuming a blown transformer in #nolibs. 900 block of N. Hancock Street #peco #Philadelphia
- Jill Ivey (@jillianivey) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect @rossinphl But anyway the power turned back on as I hit send on that tweet so hopefully it stays that way. That doesn’t mean your reporting process makes any more sense, though.
- Michael Cogbill (@MichaelforPa) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect Y’all should just look out for us this week.
- Lynda Leto (@letogirls) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@PECOconnect A pole was replaced in my backyard. Who can I contact about damage to concrete walkway from PECO equipment? Main number always busy.
- VeryHungryTraveller (@VeryHungryTrav) reported fromPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania
@RepRabb a huge tree is in imminent danger of falling on Westview near Sherman, taking out power. McFarland is lined up to cut it down. But PECO has to shut off power to let McFarland cut down the tree. Can you help? @PECOconnect

@PECOconnect is an absolute joke. 3rd loss of power for our block since December and at least 10th in past few years. Power went out at 5pm Monday and are given estimate of restoration of 3pm Tuesday. Complete joke. No crews even there right now working to fix problem

@PECOconnect why would my power go out 5:45 in the morning 🤬 There is no reason why my power should be going out.
- acorekabj (@acorekabj) reported
@PECOconnect Speaking of gas, how disingenuous can PECO get touting their focus on renewable energy while forcing more natural gas onto DelCo and trying to cram an industrial expansion plant down the throats of Marple Twp Neighborhood Center residents?
- john p green (@jpgreen4) reported
@Asplundh_Tree @PECOconnect your tree guys suck. Two-hour nap on my front yard and they left lunch trash there also. Totally professional
